Resins
We have extensive experience in enhancing high performance resins, such as polyurethane, polyester and epoxy to increase the strength, stiffness and wear resistance.
Client sought a tougher epoxy for industrial flooring applications. Nuenz trials involved receiving a 20kg coating sample comprising both Part A and Part B from the client. From this, we undertook our dispersion testing process and compatibility analysis. Nuenz identified optimum results from Si3N4 fibre additions into the Part B where a 20% improvement in flexural strength was achieved as well as an increase in Shore D hardness from 25.3 to 27.4.
