Tougher Epoxy Floor Coating

Client sought a tougher epoxy for industrial flooring applications. Nuenz trials involved receiving a 20kg coating sample comprising both Part A and Part B from the client. From this, we undertook our dispersion testing process and compatibility analysis.  Nuenz identified optimum results from Si₃N₄ fibre additions into the Part B where a 20% improvement in flexural strength was achieved as well as an increase in Shore D hardness from 25.3 to 27.4.
